Personal data we process

eiapopeia processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name
  • Address details
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Bank account number

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over the age of 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent.

If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@eiapopeia.nl, and we will delete this information.

For what purposes and on what legal basis we process personal data

eiapopeia processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To process your payment
  • To call or email you if necessary in order to provide our services
  • To give you the opportunity to create an account
  • To deliver goods and services to you

eiapopeia also processes personal data when we are legally required to do so, such as data we need for our tax returns.

Automated decision-making

eiapopeia does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that may have significant consequences for individuals. This refers to decisions made by computer programs or systems without human involvement, for example by an eiapopeia employee.

How long we retain personal data

eiapopeia does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data: 5 years.

Personal details > 5 years > for the purpose of maintaining our regular customer database
Address > 5 years > for the purpose of maintaining our regular customer database
Bank details > 5 years > for the purpose of maintaining our regular customer database

Sharing personal data with third parties

eiapopeia only provides personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or in order to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies or similar technologies we use

eiapopeia only uses technical and functional cookies, as well as analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for your convenience. They ensure that the website functions properly and remember, for example, your preferred settings. They also allow us to optimise our website.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your data

This means that you can submit a request to us to provide the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation specified by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or data portability of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@eiapopeia.nl.

To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Dutch Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks at the latest.

eiapopeia would also like to inform you that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the Dutch national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). How we protect personal data

eiapopeia takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration.

If you believe that your data is not adequately protected or if there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or email us at info@eiapopeia.nl.

eiapopeia has taken the following measures to protect your personal data:

  • High-quality security software, such as antivirus software and a firewall.
  • TLS (formerly SSL): we transmit your data via a secure internet connection. You can recognise this by the “https” in the address bar and the padlock icon in the address bar.
